Propalestinski prosvjednici popeli su se u četvrtak na krov zgrade australskog parlamenta u Canberri i razvili transparente od kojih je na jednom stajalo da će Palestina biti slobodna, optužujući Izrael za ratne zločine, pokazuju TV snimke.

Na snimci se vide osobe odjevene u tamnu odjeću na krovu zgrade, kako razvijaju crne transparente među kojima je i onaj “od rijeke do mora, Palestina će biti slobodna”, uobičajeni slogan prosvjednika za Palestinu.

Jedan od prosvjednika započeo je govor koristeći megafon optužujući izraelsku vladu za ratne zločine, što je optužba koju ona odbacuje.

“Nećemo zaboraviti, nećemo oprostiti i nastavit ćemo pružati otpor”, poručio je prosvjednik.

Nekolicina policajaca i zaštitara savjetovala je ljudima da ne prolaze izravno ispod prosvjednika na glavnom ulazu u zgradu, ali čini se da nije bilo pokušaja da se prosvjednici uklone, rekao je očevidac za Reuters.
